Interactive Tutorial & Practice System
Before arriving at the aircraft, we need to plan our flight. This includes route, performance calculations, and loading data. In the real world, this is often pre-computed by dispatch, but we'll enter it manually to understand the process.
Before we turn on electrical power, we must verify the aircraft is in a safe state. If certain switches are in the wrong position, applying power could cause equipment to start moving or activate unexpectedly, which could damage the aircraft or injure ground crew.
Click on BATTERY 1 and BATTERY 2 below. The voltage should read above 25.5V on both. This ensures we have enough battery power to start systems.
We'll now bring the aircraft to life in a specific sequence. The order matters!
Click BATTERY 1, then BATTERY 2 to set them to AUTO. This connects the batteries to the electrical system.
